SF has managed to import some beautiful Wood Burl Fly Boxes that make a very attractive accessory, especially when selecting flies for your Bamboo Fly Rod. While both sides of these fly boxes have an attractive figuring, generally speaking one side will have a more detailed pattern than the other. The box dimensions are approximately 5.5 inches x 3.75 inches x 1.26 inches. These fly boxes are held together with four small but strong magnetic clasps (the magnets are recessed in the wood in opposing pairs). They do a good job of keeping the box closed until you want it open. Inside the fly box are rows of slotted foam to hold your flies. There are 22 slots in each row of foam, with five rows each on each side of the fly box. This gives 220 slots in total.
